Value For Money : Excellent
Type: This amp is low on the circuit of Fender Blackface Deluxe Reverb Annes '60s. The amp is light: 3 x 12AX7 6V6 + 4x + 1 x GZ34 lamp + reverb. It's been a lot of light for an amp channel! The transformers are surdimenssionns to ensure the power and reliability. The components are sorting, improves sound and to ensure reliability.
If you want the clean sound of Fender 60s without fear of it falling in the harbor, try a Wolfaardt. I'm a fan of vintage Fender blackface amp or Silverface. I've tried a lot and I got a Woldaardt.

Connectivity: The amp is assembled by hand soldered point by point. Irreproachable quality.

Power: 40 watts. 40-watt processors as true surdimmensionns watts are rels and power indicates power is minimal. Allow a little more ... no, a little more ;-)
I made mine equipped with a switch to the splitter at 20 watts.

Rglages: There are the classic Blackface rglages (a volume, master volume, three bands quialisation Treeble, Medium, Bass, switch On / Off, a Standby On / Off) and most Wolfaardt: treeble a boost (neutral, mid boost, high boost). The rear rglages: switch 20/40 watts, ohms rglage 4/8/16 ohm, rglage the Reverb, the bias and connectors: the 2 connectors from HP, the diet.

UTILIZATION

Confiuration: Given the simplicity of rglages, setup is simple: it's done by a pro player and his love of music, not by an engineer of NASA!
Hyp 1: you connect directly.
Hyp 2: you connect to your pdaleboard and you connect your head.
Manual: What manual? Given the simplicity of rglages, the manual is not helpful.
I do not like the amp or pedals like the cockpit of an A380. I do not want to have to spend evenings reading a book and spend Journes tweak before I use an amp or pedal. This is done to make music and not to art!
Sound: With rglages so simple, it is very easy to find your sound. Between 30 seconds and 5 minutes and sailing.

SOUNDS

Style: Blackface Deluxe Reverb As this amp is polyvallent: blues, rock, pop, country. If you do the metal, just set the proper pdalboard before and you sound. Now the circuit is not that of a Mesa 6V6 and does not ring as EL34. Now if the sound you are looking for EL34, Wolfaardt is a head in this style.
For me playing mostly blues and light rock crunch but also with overdrive is perfect
Sounds obtained: Huge! The sound of old Fender Deluxe Reverb is the well: clear, specific on ar, warm, vibrant. The amp is very dynamic, he sought not the style of play to attack. The sensitive and specific on rglages without being crlant. We find ourselves in good old Fender sound. It is happiness.
I tried a cab 1x12 "equipped with a Celestion Vintage 30: it is balanced and really good.
I tried a cab 1x12 "equipped with a Celestion GT12-75: it is also very good.
I played with a cab 2x12 "equipped with 2 Celestion Vintage 30: norm!

With the right pedals, you get pretty nasty crunch and overdrive and crmeux.

If you want to work your sound by tweak your amp, please choose Plutt the Dumble head.

Caution: You your amp on a high-end, so if you're not famili this may surprise you: the bandwidth is much wider. If you have the hardware of average quality, you may hear frquences that you're not accustomed hear pedals with averages may hear the breath with the heads Wolfaardt (Blackface or Dumble). Note that it is rare to hear the big blast. However, expect to hear your pedals and guitars sound like ever!
Guitars / Effects: No effect in the amp unless you choose the option Reverb.

Another plus: this amp takes pedals well extrment. It is a rgale put an RC Booster, BB Preamp one front: or crunchy overdrive sound is excellent. A bit of delay, it's terrible!

Particularity of Wolfardt: Reverb you're not on stage or you and your sound engineer for the add prefers Reverb from the console, then at least rglez Reverb: you benefitted from the circuit and the lamp without a bit of reverb. Life is easy when things are good thinking!

My pedalboad is simple:
1 - Tuner - to be fair
2 - Xotic RC Booster - to emerge even harmonics
3 - Ibanez TS9 amended by Wolfaardt - for sounds nasty
4 - TC Electronic SCF - when you need a chorus transparent
5 - Dunlop Cry Baby - not the best but for rhythm, it will

I think add 3 pedals:
- Xotic BB Preamp - for a nice overdrive
- VL Effect Bullit - another crunch more organic
- TC Electronic Nova Repeater - whether a delay that makes the job
Guitars: This amp takes out all the guitars. The Fender (Start and Tele) and Gibsons (Les Paul, ES335, ES125 cad humbedker and P90). It is a right amp and polyvallent. I found my '67 Princeton very well for Start and Tele, but too fair to Gibson. The amp I found that provides with all the guitars and all types of microphones.
Sounds prefers: blues, rock, pop, etc. ...

OVERALL OPINION

Hard to use: I've had a few months and it got my amp numro 1. Everything goes well. Not take this the head to find his sound.
Test: I tried many amps:
- Of vintage Fender Bandmaster, Super Reverb, Master Tone, Marshall JTM 45 Plexi
- The modern Fender Super Sonic, Hotrod Deluxe, Deluxe Reverb, Blues Junior

I tried several amps at Wolfaardt and repeatedly.
EXPERIENCE: It was a time I had this amp in sight. I do not regret my purchase and do it again without a doubt.
Particularity:
Like: The quality of sound, simplicity of use, polyvallence: it is clear is right and it sounds great.

Like least: The weight of the head. The weight is standard but since I'm from the world of the combo ... So I'm in my adaptation ... PERIOD On the other side I chose this format to head for the quality of transformer and power to put a reverb in: o the weight. Wolfaardt is the same head in a Compact Size: PSE pen and she sounds the same!
Report A Quality / Price: If you aves a better quality / price fiabilt / her, tell me-o because I had searched in vain, I have not found.
Conclusion: If searching for SOUND old Fender without fear of leaving your vintage amp, if you want to change your amp for your game and try your sound Wolfaardt!

On my head, I added two amendments: a 20/40 watt switch Accutronics reverb.
The treeble boost can be transformed into Middle boost on demand.

In short, try Wolfaardt, conquered and you will leave with a great amp.
