- Characteristics that are very promptly reasons: price, four input and four outputs, the asio and usb for my laptop
- The use is for MixVibes DVS (https://fr.audiofanzine.com/produits/index% 2Cidproduit 2C42763.html%) or I put my 2 turntables technics M3D entries in the Mayan and outputs to my mixer.
- My config: P4-m 1.5ghz centrino 40gig 512ddr 5400 rev / min, windows sp1 pack.
- My Instruments: 2 platinces technics M3D. mixer tascam xs-8 and mixvibes DVS (https://fr.audiofanzine.com/produits/index% 2Cidproduit 2C42763.html%)
I put 10 for features because it is really what I needed.
UTILIZATION
- Installation no problem (a little boring anyway, must disconnect plug, finally we follow the assitance of the driver installation)
- No incompatibilities
- The configuration is simple and easy.
- Manual clear, but y 'are not needed.
GETTING STARTED
- Drivers not stable at all, when starting the windows I always have to disconnect and reconnect for it to be well recognized. I had to reinstall the drivers several times but it's not a big problem, because once detected its not loose.
- Frequent updates from the windows sp2 pack they released two updated.
- I get the latency is 4 ms and 9 ms in input and output in i believe the 2 addition on what makes me 16ms.
- I read two tracks simultaneously.
I put 7 for drivers not stable.
OVERALL OPINION
- It's going to be 6 months that I use.
- What I like most about it is that value for money for € 149 can use ASIO drivers to have a good latency, USB port for my laptop with these four inputs and outputs that correspond pil hair in my use.
I also like the LEDs on each input and output, we see how it runs.
- What I like least is that it uses no external power and uses that of the USB is more convenient but less reliable.
With the experience I would do this choice for its price, but now I'm trying to edirol fa66 or FA101, but it's not the same price either.
Otherwise if you have not better get a usb m-audio pci is € 100 which is much more efficient and less expensive.
