PreSonus has released a new software driver for its AudioBox USB 2x2 audio interface.
The new driver adds 64-bit functionality for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 and can be downloaded (free) from the Technical Support/Downloads section of the PreSonus Web site.
The AudioBox is class-compliant with Mac OS X and therefore does not need a Mac driver.
The PreSonus AudioBox USB is a portable, USB bus-powered, audio-recording interface featuring 2 combo microphone/instrument inputs with 48V phantom power, 2 balanced TRS outputs, and MIDI In and Out.
It is compatible with Mac OS X 10.3.7 and later, including Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), and with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
The AudioBox comes with PreSonus’ Studio One Artist digital audio workstation software bundle.
