«  Bluffing at this price »

The choice of this interface has been based on several criteria: 1) the 8 inputs and 8 outputs, 2) 48v power supply for all inputs, 3) pre-amp quality 4) Price.

When my dealer offered me this interface I hesitated a bit, it's an interface to make multitrack recordings of live, so I wanted something durable. They offered me to try it, and I ended up adopting.

I use windows 64bit and cubase 5. This is really good, inputs 1 and 2 can be used in a stereo input

UTILIZATION

This is really good, inputs 1 and 2 can be used in a stereo input.

The latency is so low with the supplied drivers I do not know how it is.

8 entries are recorded simultaneously, no problem, maybe a latency that installs but the pc is not new recently, so I think it plays.

The pre-amp is really good, the sound is clear and warm at the same time, no distortion of the gain, really good stuff.

GETTING STARTED

Installation ok first shot. Everything is very intuitive. If not after anything other than Cubase LE, it may be limited!

OVERALL OPINION

I've had a good month, I made a sound recording studio and live with, no difference in the two.

Pros: 8 inputs, pre-amp, the 48v on each input
The -: the connectors noon back design

I hesitated with Presonus audiobox from home, but frankly for a very very very close to quality, the price is unbeatable. In addition the service is provided with a replacement on site in case of failure ...

Very satisfied with this purchase (with a headphone Prodipe 780 offered as stunning in its frequency range), I think I lean more on Prodipe that satisfies me so much in the quality of products on the price ...
