All user reviews for the Terratec TERRASONIQ Phase X64 USB

I was looking for:
- Low latency to play live
- In simultaneous inputs, at least: synthesizer (stereo line) + microphone (with +48 V) + guitar
- A coaxial spdif to go live on m-audio speakers monitor DSM-3
- The USB 2.0 (much easier to find a compatible firewire ...)

She offers these and more (phono, two other inputs / insert line, 4 outputs, the midi in / out, ...).
Also very surprised by the sound quality: it is perfectly transparent.

Tested with Ableton Live on OSX 10.6 and Windows XP sp3: drivers nickels, simple, latency inaudible.


UTILIZATION

10ms latency.
Updated firmware is available on the manufacturer's website. Easy installation.

Conflict with the usb Mouse (I put it in the USB3 controller), and conflict with some other drivers (prokeys sono 61)

GETTING STARTED

On the PC (windowd) I had to uninstall the drivers for my old sound card M-Audio.
On the mac: RAS, nickel (as usual!).

OVERALL OPINION

I bought this because of the multiple in/out.

The brand has restructured there is little time to release this product with the Editor "Image Line" of "FL Studio" and "Deckadance" ... hence the two phono and necessarily very low latency necessary for the use thereof.
