Gordon Smith has models replica Gibson unadorned with the main feature of not using mahogany for the body but red cedar.
And it's 100% handmade in England.

SOUNDS

Are they adequate for your style of music?
- I play metal so yes.
- Note that the guitar is perfect to another style if you use the microphones proposed by GS

What types of sounds you get and with what settings ("crystalline", "fat", ....)?
In his clear a few things I get very close to "Welcome home (sanitarium)"
The popping sound is very accurate with the 81 it not bleed. And I find it hot with the 60.

With what (s) amp (s) or effect (s) do you play?
I play on a Mesa Mark III.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been a year since I have this guitar.
This is my 2nd explosion, the first is an epiphone with gibson pickups.

I love this guitar and I would do this choice without hesitation.

Quality / price ratio: well I've had a 1984 Explorer without ruining me!
