Already owner of a GT 220 graphics card brand Sparkle, I came across (on a famous auction site) on this model rare occasion that I could buy (he no longer sale long enough already). I have the 512MB version, but there are also versions 256 MB and 1 GB
Like her sister described in my review posted otherwise, this card has a heatsink behind the card and not encroach on adjacent slots (PCI Express if the property is located at the side end processor on the motherboard ). Here we have 112 stream processors against 48 of the GT 220 (and 96 on a GT 430), although in previous generations. With this configuration of the radiator, I could not find better in power.
Given the age of the card, not a question of finding an HDMI, but rather two DVI and mini-DIN (used for connections S-Video and component-I have said many component and composite non- with the cables provided).
I do not paraphrase my opinion on the GT 220 to tell you how much I think also this 8800 GT. If you want to put you also in search of a copy, I draw your attention still on the size of the radiator which is much larger than the GT 220 and 430 of the manufacturer. Make sure no obstructions around the PCI Express (a bit cooler or large memory card) does more than 5 cm high, otherwise the map does not fit into your PC ...
In short, one more card in my opinion unfairly ignored and that the musicians might be interested ... I have no shares in Sparkle, but we must recognize that this is a brand that offers original products (passive 450 GTS, 7800 GT AGP 9500 GT and even PCI!).
