Propellerhead announces the release of Parsec, a new virtual additive synth in Rack Extension format for its Reason sequencer.
Parsec is an additive synth based on 2 oscillators, each with 512 partials that are sculpted by two algorithmic modifiers. Its also includes 2 envelopes and 2 LFOs for parameter modulation, as well as a delay, a reverb, and a modulation bus that user of Thor will used to.
The audio input in Parsec allows you to use the synth as a vocoder and its integration to the Reason Rack allows for Parsec to being controlled by other sources or combining it to other instruments.
