Best value: Excellent
The installation is done it without problems?
Yes. Classic installer: a setup file, it launches, ca installs quickly and occupies 810 MB of disk space.

Note that the archive is hosted on a high-performance server and the download is very fast.

Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
No inconsistency in a Cubase 5 + Windows 7 system.

The general configuration is easy?
Yes.

The manual is clear and sufficient?
The downloaded archive after obtaining link after purchase contains a very detailed English but with a lot of illustrations and screen captures which makes very clear PDF 114 pages.

Note that after purchasing the site Bornemark, I have not received a link to download. A mail via the contact form on the site and less than 3 hours after Sven Bornemark sent me an email of apology and a link to download the archive containing the software.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

What is the configuration of your computer? (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Disk / sound card ..)
I'm running Windows 7, Cubase 5, 4GB ram, i5 3550 processor and an SSD system disk.

The software works he correctly on this configuration?
On my setup, Broomstick Bass works perfectly.

This software + hardware is stable?
Altogether. No crashes or freezes random, not latency use.

OVERALL OPINION

How long have you use it?
6 months. I wrote three or four songs with.
I write my low scores in TuxGuitar, then I export it to midi to import Cubase then I may touch in the Midi editor or with a MIDI keyboard.

What is the particular feature you like best and least?
Plus:
- 22 available instruments (including bass style Mellotron keyboard ideal for electro)
- Sounds quite credible in a lot of style and corresponding well with simulated models (special mentions to the Rickenbacker and MusicMan Sabre)
- Many instrument settings (release, playing with a pick or fingers, etc.) and the string that follows (pre-amplification, equalization, some effects)
- Ability to generate a groove from a tone and style (I do not use it but to make back-track blues / jazz is ideal)
- No need for third party software
- Super clear and intuitive interface
- Impressive price
- Great service Bornemark

The least:
- No 5-string bass or 6-string
- No opportunity to play on the pitch of the bass

Have you tried many other models before buying it?
No.

How would you rate the quality / price?
Fine

With experience, you do again this choice?
Absolutely: it is functional, easy to use, it sounds and it's really cheap.
So, for 250 € more, there is Trillian. I subdued the Demo on the site Spectrasound, ca seems to sound a little better, a little more "alive" for taking better care of variations games but it must be felt only in a style where the bass is not necessarily put forward (as well juicy funk, jazz) for a style more rock / pop / metal, Broomstick seems good enough.

Finally, a small example of what audio can do here (use the Music Man Sabre and Mellotron) http://snd.sc/15nFKu8
