Zeus will feature 25GB of drum samples, with the ability to control the microphone positions, as well as cymbals and hi-hats samples.
The noticeable new feature in Zeus is, according to 8DIO, the LDT Legato Drum Technology, which combines recordings and scripting for enhanced realism.
As usual at 8DIO’s, Zeus is designed for Kontakt, but we’ll have to wait until next month to discover the result.
Drummers who want to win the Zeus Library can now enter the Zeus Challenge and upload on SoundCloud and the 8DIO Facebook page one or more drum demos before November 25th. 8DIO adds that you can use any VST you want for this demo.
The winners will receive the Zeus library for free when released, but prior to that, they will be invited to participate in the beta testing phase of the library and their demos will be heard by professionals in the music industry.
