- Installation is it without problem?
5 DVD's, almost 60 GB of deals, it takes time (more than 2 hours for all loading in optimal quality). But no worries report.
For cons, I had to take me two times to the procedure of authorization (- 1 point). M'tre recorded after a FIRST TIME I reu the same message asking me to provide cl license on the site of FXPansion. After that, no more worries.
FXPansion adj posted a major update, loads and installs Manir quite transparent (no worries)
- Have you experienced any incompatibility?
Submitted up, no, but tt is really to rule, I have not had much time to use all the features. This notice will be updated
- The configuration gnrale is easy?
User BFD 1.5, it is quite easy to find in version 2. Without bothering to read the manual, I support some changes and drum kits, send samples, a little fiddling effects ... Compared with BFD 1.5, the approach is more complex, but the price to pay your checks has more features. If we consider only what was proposed in the previous version (no effect, no editor, etc..), We do not take the head to ring the whole.
- The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
I did not come compltement. For cons, I was looking for information on export of samples, and I found quickly c'tait clear, it worked without hassle. No doubt I will read one of these four, but for now, I use the software without need.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
- What is the configuration of your computer? (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Disk / sound card ..)
PC Pentium 4 3Ghz, Asus P5 motherboard, 2GB 667Mhz RAM, 3 SATA HDD (one dedicated to the sounds of BFD)
- The software works he correctly on this configuration?
Yes
- What performance? (If quantifiable)
If we can rely on the display performance of BFD, I have not Exceeds 30% in use with Cubase. I have not used any battery with 32 lments either, but even with 18 lments, ca-rounded
- This software + hardware configuration is stable?
I have had some cracking, but I think it comes from my sound card, which is neither pro nor any rcente. A reboot of the machine was enough to put the record straight.
OVERALL OPINION
- How long have you use it?
It is available for a week
- What is the particular feature you like best and least?
There are several reasons why I wanted to update the BFD 1.5 to version 2:
* More sounds (10 kits that plutt 5, certain sounds that were missing in version 1, as the bells
* DDIS effects (and presets)
* The editor intgrbr /> * loop management is more friendly (pr-cost DIFFERENT ways to select by genre), and for that I had the pleasure of hearing, their quality is a notch above.
* A few extras, like the possibility of giving points to lments (a kit, The elements spars, the grooves) and therefore CRER its own list according to his prf ences
What I least AIM (but maybe I should be better read the manual) is the disappearance of diffrent output configurations in Cubase. With version 1.5 of BFD, Cubase listing diffrent mixing default configurations, as Stro BFD, BFD All, BFD Ultra, version 2, there is only one configuration by default, BFD 2, which is the output Stereo (all tracks are sent to the master track). So I CRER routing, in which each element of the battery out to its runway dedicates (-1 point). Fortunately, this mapping can be saved and recalled later.
- Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
More than a year of using BFD 1.5, amply filled me dj
- How do you report qualitprix?
175 EUR for the upgrade, knowing that in this version complte Ralite (version 1.5 is still Submitted on PC), it seems to correct. For those familiar with version 1.5, dj admontrer the quality is not. It's all good. You push a little volume, and one would think!
- With the exprience, you do again this choice? ...
Yes, without fail. BFD 2 is the solution I rvais because it complte the few gaps that could have BFD 1.5. I waited impatiently, I'm not.
