According to Loops de la Crème, all the raw samples were directly recorded from a JU-06 and a JX-03, with the being either plugged into a Radial DI, a UA LA610 or an API 512C. Although useable on their own, these raw sounds can also be layered with other drum samples or further tweaked and processed with your favourite EQs, comps and effects.
Boutique Drums also features three categories of reamped samples, featuring dry and punchy drum hits, a folder of retro synth effects, and a collection of typical 80s kicks, snares and toms (created with the same gear and techniques used for 80s Snares).
This library includes a total 266 raw samples and 185 reamped samples, all mono and stereo WAV (48kHz/24bit) for a total size of 74MB.
Announced at a list price of €16 (+VAT if applicable), Boutique Drums is currently available at 50% off as a special introductory offer valid until April 1st (and no, this ain’t no joke). More details (and two sound demos) can be found at Loops de la Crème’s website.
