Described as a very simple drum box with a typical vintage analogue sound, Regal Rhythm features six on-board preset rhythms with a slightly fuzzy, soft-edged tone that is said to work very nicely for chillout, downtempo tracks. And the GUI looks quite vintage, too!
Sounds include kick drum, plus two flavours of snare, as well as the combinable presets (which tempo-sync to your host DAW). Saturation, compression and bit-crusher controls allow fir a bit more of tone creative control. It requires the full version of Kontakt v4.2.3 or above (Kontakt Player is not supported, as usual the instrument will load but time out after 15 minutes).
Announced for an MSRP of £5 (+VAT), Regal Rhythm is currently available for free when you buy any other Rhythmic Robot instrument from us – and this includes really cheap ones, some even under the £5 mark. To benefit from this offer, add it to your cart with any other product and then use the coupon code REGAL at checkout. Expiration date for this offer was not precised, but as it is announced as an “early Christmas present” December 24th seems a reasonable (yet wild) guess. More details at www.rhythmicrobot.com.
