The Stereo Designer app for iPad is designed to be used with Audiobus and the inter-app audio to process the stereo image in other music apps. You can use it to widen the stereo field, convert a mono source to stereo, process the Mid and Side, appli high and low-pass filters to each channel in synth, drums or any instrument app.
Stereo Designer provides two operation modes: Perform with a GUI featuring XY pads to control filters, delay, pan and output gain separately for right and left channels, while the Tweak mode allows for fine tuning the sound with sliders and additional effect parameters.
Holdeness Media adds that the app can also be used if you want to process external instruments (guitars, vocals, synths) via a compatible USB audio interface or a microphone.
The Stereo Designer app will be available for the iPad 2 and later (iPad Mini included) with iOS 7. Pricing and availability are still to be announced but you can find more information at www.holdernessmedia.com.
