Impact Soundworks present Shreddage 2 SRP, the newest virtual guitar in their SHREDDAGE series. Featuring an all-new set of samples recorded from a totally different guitar, this instrument is announced as offering “a unique tone that is perhaps [Impact Soundworks’] most flexible yet”, likely to adapt to a wide array of musical genres.
The guitar was performed by Jules Conroy, who recorded over 15,000 samples in 24-bit quality, reportedly covering every crucial articulation and more, with up to 11 layers of palm mutes per note. This new library uses the same Shreddage V3 engine as S2 and IBZ, an engine designed to make layering, mixing & matching easy. It comes with full control over articulation mapping, built-in FX rack, custom performance settings as well as advanced engin settings for power users.
Shreddage 2 SRP does not require Shreddage 2 (but in that case you’ll need to purchase the Standalone version of Shreddage 2 SRP), and is compatible with the free Kontakt Player. It is available now from the Impact Soundworks website for the introductory price of $99 for S2 license owners and $119 for new customers (the aforementioned Standalone version). Also, S2 IBZ owners can save an additional $20 off this price through checking their User Account.
