Before jumping back into the pool or playing in the waves, have a look at Shinyguitar, a free SFZ library by Karoryfer.
Shinyguitar is an archtop guitar library for Sforzando. Karoryfer sampled the notes of every minor third with four velocity layers and four round robins. You also get the low E string tuned to C#, muted strings, release noises with five round robins and percussion with four round robins.
The GUI, which was borrowed from Plogue, give you the ability to use two channels, one with the direct pickup sound and the other with the miked instrument. You can blend the channels and control the vibrato and number of voices.
Shinyguitar features 846 samples in total, with a 24-bit / 44.1 kHz resolution, and it requires Sforzando v1.822 and later. You can download it from www.karoryfer.com
