Devine Machine has announced the release of OTR88, its new electric piano physical emulation which offers in a few drags and clicks what used to take hours with a screwdriver on a real electric piano, according to Devine Machine.
OTR88 is designed to give you access to 17 physical parameters editable for each of the 88 keys individually (Pick-up position, tine harmonic content, tine decay, oldness, tuning and pan amongst others) through the user interface. Scala microtonal file import feature has been implemented to complete sound flexibility.
It also features 8 MIDI-Learnable FX pedals (Chorus, Delay, Distortion, Flanger, Phaser, Reverb, Tremolo and Wah) set in a pedal board.
Nearly 100 piano presets and 80 global presets have been selected.
Pricing & Availability
OTR88 costs €229 and is available in VST, RTAS, AU and standalone versions for both Mac OS X and Windows.
A fully functional demo can be downloaded on Devine Machine website.
