Mokafix Audio has released two new Electric Piano plug-ins: Blue Reeds and Glue Reeds.
Blue Reeds is a recreation of a Wurli Reed electric piano based on reactive synthesis. It captures the Reed EP sound by reproducing both the reed motion and pickup response.
Particular attention was given to the electrostatic pickup response to bring back that characteristic buzzy tone on lower register and overall edgy sound, according to the company.

Glue Reeds is a recreation of an electric piano that used sticky pads to trigger the reeds.
It is based on reactive synthesis and captures that reed EP sound by reproducing both the reed motion and pickup response. Although the original had no much dynamic response, this virtual emulation let you recover some dynamic by changing the velocity curve.
