« very solid vst »

Published on 07/04/12 at 22:28
HG Fortune STS - 26 is a very in depth virtual hybrid synth and I have enjoyed every minute of using since I purchased it about 3 years ago. The ability to do all my editing and shaping the sounds the way that I want them makes it so easy with HG Fortune STS - 26. I love the layout of it so much, that’s probably what keeps me hooked on it, the layout makes everything so easy. There are few software vst’s that I can say make it easy for me to edit my sounds and have total control over everything with ease and HG Fortune STS - 26 happens to be one of those vst plug ins that allows me to do so.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Setting it up was pretty quick and easy. The load time was minimal and its very light on my cpu on all of my machines. The more that I use this plug in the more that I end up finding out about it. You can really do anything you can imagine with STS - 26. It may take some time to understand how to get into depth with it if you are new to programming and working with vst’s. but you will be able to starting using it right away and playing around with the presets and start turning knobs and sliders to get some cool effects and sounds.

OVERALL OPINION

The sound and preset selection is pretty solid, I do wish they had some more presets though. I think the Bass presets could be a little deeper. They could have created some more pads as well too, but since I know how to program on this vst pretty good, its easy for me to create almost whatever I want now.

Overall, its great if your into tweaking presets and molding sounds and programming sounds the way that you want. If you are into just using presets, then I think you will get pretty bored pretty quickly and you will run out of sounds in no time.
