Synapse Audio has announced that the VST version of DUNE for 64-bit Windows hosts such as Cubase 64, Orion 64 or Sonar 64 is now available to all registered Dune users in the Synapse Audio service area.
DUNE is a subtractive/virtual-analog type synthesizer. The differential unison engine (DUNE) is designed to take the concept of subtractive synthesis “to the next level, ” by allowing control of each unison voice. This extends the range of possible sounds, reaching into FM and Wavetable synthesis.
