Syn’X 2 retains the concept of polyphonic synth monster inspired by a famous Italian model from the 80s that Xils Lab introduced in Syn’X. The virtual instrument features DCO, an “analog” multimode filter, a modulation matrix, ADSR envelopes and many more. Xils Lab also added many features to the original design, including the ability to cumulate up to 40 waveforms per patch, a new ODF PWM/Sync algorithm for the oscillators, an LFO (Chaox, Rhythm) with the ability to stack up to 50 waveforms per patch, unison, two arpeggiators, 2 keyboard zones, a 4-track polysequencer that also acts as a modulation source, a vintage effect section with chorus, phaser, equalizer and delay.
You’ll also find a new Guitar mode that offers two voices assignable to MIDI channels. This mode was initially intended for those who play MIDI guitar, but you can also use is with drum pads.
Syn’X 2 features two programming environment, the simplified Easy mode and Layer, which allows for creating complex sounds.
