Novation updates its Launchpad app for iPad in order to bring the highly-requested audio import feature.
The audio import feature is available in Launchpad for iPad as an in-app purchase (5.99€). It allows users to import WAV and AIFF samples and loops via Dropbox (other accesses will be available in the future).
The imported sounds can then be freely assigned to a pad as a one shot or loop.
Version 1.2 of the Launchpad app also brings various improvements, including graphics, the library manager which allows for browsing by category, packs and favorites. New trigger and sync types were also added to the editing mode and you can edit the volume of each pad.
The update is available now at the AppStore.
