Novation has released version 1.6 of its Launchpad app, which is now available on the iPhone and iPod Touch.
The Launchpad app was previously only available on the iPad. Novation now offers iPhone and iPod Touch support with the 1.6 version.
The app feature a 8 × 6 pad grid that allows for triggering up to 8 sounds at once and you can record your performance and share it on SoundCloud, Dropbox, via Audiocopy, e-mail or Audiobus.
On iPhone/iPod Touch, the app offers filter, stutter, gater and delay effects, as well as a sound library by Loopmasters and you can complete de sound collection via in-app purchases.
Note that some of the features that are integrated on the iPad version are not available on iPhone/iPod Touch, including the edit mode or the control through Novation hardware.
The Launchpad App is available for free at the AppStore.
