Facebook members can download Xils-Lab Xils 3 BE modular synth for free, courtesy of german Beat Magazine.
Xils 3 is a VST and AU modular synthesizer for Mac OS X and Windows. It features a matrix with more than 450 connections, 3 oscillators, filters, envelope, spring reverb, ring modulator, gate, envelope follower, pitch and transient trackers and a 128 steps sequencer. You can choose between mono, unison and polyphonic modes (18 voices) and all the parameters are MIDI controllable. The synth ships with presets made by famous designers, such as Kevin Lamb, Chris Pitman, etc.
Xils 3 BE is still a beta version, it will include AAX format. It requires a USB eLicenser or iLok dongle.
Regular price of Xils 3 is 149€ but if you like Beat Magazine on Facebook, you can download it for free.
