Sable Ensembles offers in a 28.4GB compressed (40.9GB) library 15 articulations with multiple round robins, velocity layers, vibrato and 4 microphone positions, for a total of 20 996 samples of orchestral strings. Spitfire says that the samples were remixed to avoid hearing transitions between the sections, and you can play the library with both hands.
Sable Ensembles is a good solution for those who want to discover Sable or don’t need or can’t afford all the volumes. They’ll find here a “best of” the complete collection for an affordable price.
Sable Ensembles has a regular price of £249 but it has a special introductory price of £199 until July 1st. Note that Sable owners who purchase Sable Ensembles will receive a 20% voucher for their next order.
