The Arturia Spark 2 software is out
Arturia released today the second version of the Spark drum software, an update that had been unveiled in NAMM last January.
The Spark 2 software brings many new features and enhancements, including a revamped GUI with the following:
- Pages organized in tabs
- Screen for pattern edit
- New mixer
- Improved Library page for easier data management
You’ll also find in this new version:
50 new drum kits for every music style
Extended REX format support with the ability to play a different REX file in each pad and manipulate REX file slices
Ability to create your own custom patches and edit the existing ones in the modular drum synth editor
Ability to create custom instrument macro control modules with oscillators, filters, ADR envelopes, LFOs, mixers, ring modulator, frequency shifter, CV processor and Spring mass
16 segments for the Song mode, which can be triggered by the hardware
Spark 2 can be used as a standalone software of VST, AU and AAX 32 and 64-bit plug-in on both Mac OS X and Windows (16 audio outputs can be routed and assigned to the host).
The software is available exclusively at the Arturia web store for the introductory price of 129€ / $129 instead of 169€ / $189 until June 30th. Plus, Arturia is lowering the price of its SparkLE Creative Drum Machine to 199€ / $199 during the same period. More info available at www.arturia.com.
