This week’s freeware is a bass drum synth in VST plug-in format for Windows, that was recently updated by DistoCore.
Bassdrum::Murda is based on a 3-oscillator synth and a wave player with added effects and processing to generate bass drums for electronic productions.
Currently in version 1.4, the VST 32 and 64-bit plug-in for Windows features the following:
- 3 oscillators
- Ring modulation
- Filter section with band-pass, band-stop as well as 12/24 dB/octave high- and low-pass filters
- Distortion section
- Filter and volume envelopes
- Phaser
- Global saturation
- Global transpose with base frequency display
- Support for RAW 32-bit IEEE ad 16-bit mono Wave
- 64-bit processing
- Built-in presets
Bassdrum::Murda is available for free download from www.distocore.net, you can also donate to encourage the developer’s work.
