LinPlug has announced the re-release of Element P for Windows - now updated to v1.1.

LinPlug has also updated the Mac version of Octopus to v1.3 and the Windows version of SaxLab to v2.1.

Element P updated to 1.1 aka “Re-release of Element P”
Element P is a percussion synthesizer that LinPlug discontinued 6 yeas ago. With its simple FM-alike technology it is said to have a unique sound. It is now compatible with today’s production environment, so it is fully compatible with all Windows versions from XP on up to Windows 7, both 32 and 64 bit. A Mac version will follow, if there is demand.

  • Special oscillator, similar to FM synthesis.
  • Four envelopes for pitch, timbre, noise and volume.

Octopus v1.3 for Mac:
  • Compatible with OSX 10.4 up to latest 10.6.3.
  • More useful default values in effects section.
  • More useful sync values in delay section.
  • Increased 24 voice polyphony.
  • Uses slightly less RAM and CPU.
  • Improved preset menu structure.

SaxLab v2.1 for Windows (a Mac beta version is also available):
  • 32 and 64 bit PC version available.
  • Compatible with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
  • Improved preset menu structure.
  • Fixed GUI flicker in REAPER.
