Blue Cat Audio has updated its PatchWork virtual universal patch bay to version 1.6 in order to add a standalone format.
With this new v1.6, PatchWork can be used as a standalone software on Mac OS X and Windows, along with the plug-in editions available since the first release of the plug-in host.
Blue Cat also fixes some issues in PatchWorl, including the ones happening with the iZotope AU plug-ins or the crash issue when saving with Kontakt 5 in Pro Tools 11. preset and session load/save performance have also been improved (up to 4 times faster in certain situations).
PatchWork v1,6 is available at www.bluecataudio.com. If you still don’t have it, its price is 59€.
