SampleTank users can now, with this new version 3.5, complete the built-in instrument and effect library with sound and rhythm expansion packs that can be purchased at the IK Multimedia webstore or the new Custom Shop available within SampleTank 3.5 standard and SE. The SampleTank Custom Shop work the same way as the R-RackS and AmpliTube in-app purchase system, you can even use the same Gear Credits. Plus, the Custom Shop gives Free or SE version users the ability to upgrade to the full version of SampleTank.
The 11 new sound sets announced today are organized in two series: Elektronika with 8 expansion packs featuring construction kit loops for dance music, and Beats with three libraries containing drums, percussions, effects and MIDI patterns for more modern electronic styles.
SampleTank v.3.5 update also adds features requested by users, including a new favorite system with stars, the ability to browse the instrument library by using the arrow keys on a computer keyboard, and the GUI has been slightly reorganized with the use of banners to display the sound libraries.
Update v3.5 is free for v3 users, the expansion packs are available for $39.99 at www.ikmultimedia.com/products/sampletank3sounds/ or 50 Gear Credits each on the SampleTank Custom Shop.
