New Sonic Arts has launched Nuance, a new sampler player for Mac and Windows available at a special price until the end of the month.
Specifications:
- 32bit stereo sampling engine
- OneShot, AHD and AHDSR envelopes
- Various loop modes (Forward, forward-back, loop crossfade)
- Sample Map with unlimited zones
- 128 voice polyphony
- Unison voice system with up to 8 voices per MIDI note and free assignment of spread via Modulation Matrix
- Monophonic legato glide mode
- Modulation matrix with Unlimited assignments, various MIDI sources and random and Voice Spread sources
- 2 x modulation envelopes
- 2 x morphable, tempo-syncable LFOs
- Effect section with analog modelled filter (Lowpass, Bandpass and Highpass), compression and drive
- Audio formats: Native NU, WAV and AIFF; SFZ import
Nuance is available in standalone and AU and VST plug-in formats on Mac OS X (10.5 or higher) and Windows (XP, Vista and 7). You can get it for $59 instead of $89 through March 31st at www.newsonicarts.com.
