After June 9th, Spitfire Audio will no longer sell their Sacconi Strings libraries separately. Sacconi Strings volume 1 (1st violin) and 2 (Cello) have been available for a few months now for £99 apiece, but after the aforementioned date it no longer will be possible to purchase them separately. In the same time, Spitfire also hints at the future release of a Sacconi Strings Quartet library but both its release date and price are still “to be confirmed”. Still, it can be expected that on or soon after June 9th, an entire Sacconi Strings library (featuring the 1st violin and cello but also the still missing viola and 2nd violin libraries) shall be released to replace the current separate volumes.
