AIR, the creator of the Ignite music creation software for the M-Audio keyboard controllers, launches two new virtual synthesizers at NAMM 2013.
Vacuum Pro is a polyphonic analog tube synthesizer bsed on the monophonic Vacuum, first developed by the AIR team as part of the Pro Tools Creative Collection from Avid. Vacuum Pro is polyphonic, offering up to 160 oscillators plus substantial improvements in both horsepower and features:
- Two individual parts, expandable to four
- 250 presets
- Smart Sound Randomizer to quickly design unique sounds
- 11 Smart Knobs for macro control over parameters
- Economy mode reduces load on the host processor
- VST, AU, RTAS, and AAX
- 32– and 64-bit
Loom is an entirely new modular additive synthesizer with the following features :
- 30 distinct sound modules, each with a distinct function (moving filter, octaver, repeater, second tone…), freely combinable in 10 cells
- Between 128 and 512 individual additive harmonics
- Spectral modulation
- Envelope control
- Multiple LFOs
- Onboard effects
- Smart Morph Page with 4 assignable quadrants on an X-Y display, Custom morphing paths that can then be automated, placed under MIDI control, and even synced to the tempo of the host program, creating a morphing pattern that takes 8 or 16 bars to complete
- 250 presets
- Smart Sound Randomizer to quickly design unique sounds
- Economy mode reduces load on the host processor
- VST, AU, RTAS, and AAX
- 32– and 64-bit
