AcousticsampleS has releases a new sample library fully dedicated to the ukulele for use in the UVI Workstation 2.

Uku is a 8.16 GB library featuring approximately 13,300 samples of ukulele, including 39 different samples for each fret, all of which have been sampled for each string.

You’ll get in the UVI Workstation 2 a strumming engine with chord recognition, smart strumming technique for chord production and control of all the parameters. A pattern builder allows for automatic chord strumming.

67 patterns are also available for strum, picking and advanced playing techniques, including hammer on, pull off, slides up and down, mutes, ghost notes and pre-notes with multiple velocity layers. Hammer ons, pull offs and slides also benefit from legato scripting. Last, Uku simulates the natural hand placement on its own.

The GUI also allows for controlling the two mic perspectives, pickup volume, bend management and the SparkVerb reverb effect is included.

Uku is available for 69 € at www.acousticsamples.net.
