8Dio will launch on July 7th its biggest choir sample library for Kontakt, Lacrimosa, which will feature no less than 200 voices.
The voices used for Lacrimosa come from the 8Dio V8P sample catalog. The 70 bass, 60 tenor, 40 alto and 30 soprano singers were recorded with 3 mic positions with a “pyramid” configuration so that men voices are as powerful as the female singers.
You’ll find in Lacrimosa a large amount of articulations, including True Legato, multi-vowels, staccato, power-marcato, arcs, sustains and more.
The 17.5 GB collection (lossless compressed form 42 GB) features 16,500 samples.
