SessionBand, 4 iOS music creation apps

UK Music Apps launched on the AppStore the SessionBand series, with 4 apps that transform chords into audio loops.

The loops available in SessionBand have all been created by world-class musicians and producers and are copyright-free. The apps cover all music styles.

In use, you choose in the app a music style, chords in any key and the app automatically transforms them into audio loops. You can them change the loop length with a two-finger slide on the screen (like zoom gesture). You can also change the style, tempo (+/-15%) and transpose on the fly.

The apps are available at a very reasonable basic price and you can then expand the collection via in-app purchases (also very affordable).

Here’s the detail of the four apps:

  • SessionBand : the original app features 16 loop libraries in different styles. Price: $1.99 and $2.99 for iPad, with in-app purchase to expand the collection
