Best Service recently announced the imminent release of Ethno World 5 Professional & Voices and Epic World - Cinematic Landscapes.

Epic World – Cinematic Landscapes

Epic World – Cinematic Landscapes was produced by “Tari” Eduardo Tarilonte and is described as “the perfect tool for composers and sound designers to create ambience for films, documentaries, video games and new age music.”

 

Epic World is a 7GB library with around 350 patches, including drones, pads, instruments, voices, whooshes, sfx and about 1000 loops, instruments and vocal phrases. It contains sonic landscapes that go from “bright to dark, from soft to powerful and from magical to haunting.”

 

Pricing & Availability

Epic World is powered by the Best Service ENGINE sample player and so is available for Windows and Mac OS X in stand-alone and VST, AU and RTAS instrument plug-in formats.

Epic World has an SRP of €299 and is expected to be released in September 2010. It can be pre-ordered for €249 until then.

 

Ethno World 5 Professional & Voices

With Ethno World 5 Professional & Voices Best Service now offers what it describes as “the most comprehensive sound collection of ethnic instruments and ethnic voices on the market.”

 

In Ethno World 5 you will find about 240 ethnic instrument samples in the following categories: bowed instruments, stringed instruments, woodwind & brass, key instruments, bell type instruments, metal type instruments, world drums, world percussion, gongs & bowls, but also the new category of Voices & Choirs.

 

The Library contains the entire library “Ethno World 4 Professional” plus an additional 10 GB with about 5,500 new samples. Thereby Ethno World 5 Professional & Voices with its 20 GB content and more than 800 patches is now described as “one of the largest ethnic sample libraries worldwide, ” according to the company.

 

Pricing & Availability

Ethno World 5 Professional & Voices is powered by Kontakt Player and so is available for Windows and Mac OS X in stand-alone and VST, AU and RTAS instrument plug-in formats. Of course it can also be loaded in the full version of Kontakt 4.

Ethno World 5 Professional & Voices has an SRP of €449 and is expected to be released in September 2010. It can be pre-ordered for €389 until then. Upgrades from EW 3 or EW 4 are €149.
