Characters very good for the range. Apart from the memories of patches, it frankly lacks the User Memory: User Performance only 8, 8 argège briefs, memoranda of agreements ... 8 It's a little lighter.

The highlight is the touch like semi-weighted which is really nice though difficult to master at first ...

The Juno-D has only two MIDI connections! Yes but the output is Merge Out Box! Besides all keyboards should be equipped with this function so convenient ... I found many bugs! For example, the signal EV-5 pedal on a keyboard master transmitted via the Juno-D to an expander does not! Rather than put the D-Beam: good architecture that does not MIDI based Merge would have been more useful!

Big flaw: In the south does not support the signal of a non-powered external Merge Box (although I only have 3 meter cable ...). The same signal is fully supported by my JV-1080, therefore the fault is with the Juno-D ...

UTILIZATION

Roland typically use very logical.
Main drawback to using: Split Mode does not share the keyboard in MIDI channel 2 which is really a mistake on the part of Roland. So it's not a real split mode but a layer!
Editing is simple even though I have had too much time to work.
The D-Beam is a gadget useless without accuracy. I use an EV-5 pedal! Assigning controllers is very convenient but it is too sensitive to certain effects.

SOUNDS

The sounds are generally good because it recognizes a lot of versions + or - SRJV modified series. That said, I find the piano a little shabby. The buttons for editing the sounds in real time are totally in the spirit of the old Juno. The kits are very successful rhythm. Amplification is good (it was too light on the XP-10)
It's enough fun but good compared to my JV-1080 I fully edit the Juno is a little funny! In short, I use the sounds to blend with those of JV: it allows for combinations but good fun all alone without editing the presets of the Juno-D with very dry and cold. And the difference in volume between the sounds, it really stuff myself!

OVERALL OPINION

Price / quality ratio, it is good and the arpeggiator is great!
I am satisfied with the Juno-D even though I was reluctant to sell it because of the direct split mode which is not one! I had to keep my old XP-10 while I intended to resell. Until we have room for a real master keyboard 88 keys, I will just ...
