Winter NAMM 2012 News
I like the warmth and tone of this compressor a lot, it really fattens up sounds nicely. It's pretty expensive, so save up! Definitely only for studio owners, there's plug-in versions of it available that would work fine for home studio owners.
I've been using the Tube Tech SMC 2B for about a year and it is one of the best, if not the best stereo multi-band compressor that I have used. It has a ton of control over your tone available, and is great for just about any application. The Tube Tech SMC 2B is extremely expensive and is designed for professional engineers. If you have the chan...
I've been using the Tube Tech CL1B for about two years and have found it to be truly a great sounding compressor. It is extremely easy to use and doesn't require any learning curve really. Like all top end compressors, the Tube Tech CL1B costs a pretty penny, but if you are a professional looking for top notch tone, it doesn't really get too muc...
I first used the Tube Tech LCA2B about four years ago. It is a beast in a number of ways. It adds a certain tone color that is tough to achieve with most compressors, as it adds something to the signal rather than squishing it and taking away from it. I love how many different parameters it has as it makes for a great compressor that you can get...
I've been using the CL1A for about a year. It is one of my favorite compressors and have always heard good things from other people about how much they like it. It it one of many compressors that I use, but if I only had to use one this certainly wouldn't be a bad choice. I can't say enough about the unique warmth that this adds, and while it de...
I've been using the CL2A for about a year now. I had been previously familiar with the CL1A, which I still prefer to this one. However, it is nice to have 2 channels on this and is convenient when compression stereo pairs. What I like most about this compressor is the clean signal it produces and the amount of flexibility it has in terms of how ...
I am fortunate to have some compressors, and for a long time now, I am the best ... On lead vocals, coupled with an Avalon AD2055 EQ is simply monstrous, definition, air, heat, everything is magnified ... The price is well justified, even if it takes two to € 5,000 channels, but a good compressor, whether at Manley, SSL, Elysia and consort, the ...
I use it for 3 years. I compared it with the Vari-Mu Manley is a technology quite similar. his family is near. the Manley works best for mastering (a little less colorful if you do not push too much) I would say the TUBETECH has a wider range, it also has the most floor of the limiter and the side chain. Both machines are excellent. ...
For a month. Excellent sound, which complements what I already mastering. There are ways to get a high volume sound effortless. The functions are intuitive. Beautiful machine pro, priced in the report.
