UTILIZATION

Simple configuration, just dig a little
a very good point, adjustments are made using potentiometers
to go further, a small reading the manual is enough
Ergonomics is very good

SOUND QUALITY

Arf, sounds ...
with a little time and research is my faith comes easily to find the right sound for both sound clear as for lead
Crunches are just saturated realistic enough, but the large distortion with grain and dynamics are not at the appointment, or he will be content with a basic sound quite impersonal.
After all, it's a matter of taste
Not that the sounds are bad, far from it, but even so, other overdrives and distortions are not very dynamic and biting
For example, the simulation of the overdrive is really far away from home OD3 Boss (OD1 and even, for having tested)
Similarly, the fate MT2 sound better than average, worse than the original (unless using a simulation-type fender, and touching up the equalizer with sub)
I find the amp simulations rather unequal (rather good for the fender, pretty average for the mesa, and disgusting to marshall)
Nothing to do with POD
But the effects are not bad and with great skill, you come to get decent sound, which justifies a rating of 7

OVERALL OPINION

I used it for over 2 years and then I resold for gain pedals (which I believe provides the best sound, despite the inconvenience, including Blast tap dancing for BTAC ...)
For the record, I bought a POD 2.0, which is far better in the simulation models
I would do this election?
Of course, without hesitation, to the extent that it was all in one with a wide variety of sounds and effects of quality for not very expensive, but after the acquisition of a tube amp, it's just a pity using this type of machine, if only to remove any dynamic amplification and sound "factory"
I therefore recommend it to a guitarist who needs an all in one not very expensive and not looking at any price 100% of expressiveness
