-> 54 types of effects (including 9 amp models, 7 distortion pedals, various chorus, delay, reverb, flanger ,...) covering almost everything you need!
-> 80 patches: 40 editable and 40 factory-set non-editable divided into 8 banks of 10 presets
-> Integrated Drum (40 rhythms: blues, jazz, rock, Metronome ,...)
-> 1 input, 1 output, making a pedal for an optional basis what!
-> Jack Adaptor
-> We would have liked a USB port so you can connect to a computer (such as G2.1u)

UTILIZATION

The general configuration is very simple: two chrome buttons are used to lower or up and down patches, small black buttons have different roles (choice of banks, edit mode, drum machine, ...) while the pots above are dedicated to editing sounds.
In edit mode, everything is very intuitive, we add the effects one after the other with the left and knob rules are the parameters with the three pots on the right. The manual, very clear, can quickly understand the general operation of the pedal.
However, at the beginning it is often easier to "customize" an existing sound rather than starting from scratch. It is also possible to save a sound factory we like in a bank user.
The ease of publishing is really a strong point of this pedal, it quickly becomes a pleasure to create new sounds, though, as always, we lost an early peyu.
However, in game mode, the use of the pedal becomes more difficult: indeed, the two push buttons only allow to go down or up the patches, which does in fact only two sounds immediately accessible ... In addition, the size of the buttons to change bank prohibits their use in full Thurs ..
It is therefore essential to think through the arrangement of patches in banks. For exmple, if you have three sounds in the patches is as follows: 1.clean - 2.crunch - 3.lead, you must go through the crunch to go from clean to lead. I found my parade upstairs sounds like this: crunch - lead - clean - crunch - lead ...

SOUND QUALITY

The wide variety of modeling can address a wide variety of musical styles. Almost all models are workable and sound reproduction is very correct.
I play this pedal with an EC 100 ltd I plug in an old Manhattan every lamp and in fact, it's terrible ...! I also branch directly into a mixer to play with headphones at home and rendering is also very good here (even if the dynamics is not necessarily the same ...).
The sounds are very realistic and it is recognized without problems sounds amps or pedals which inspired the folks at Zoom. Another enjoyable part: zoom in, a model of Dual Rectifier called "Dual Rectifier," it is much simpler to navigate editing sounds (other manufacturer would rather not mention what brand fact that we do not always know what is what his amps).
In short, the amp models are really good, especially the metalheads will be filled with models of Peavey MesaBoogie or that are particularly realistic. Modeling pedals offer, in my opinion, less interest.
Be careful not to drown the sound effects! Do not look necessarily to activate each effect module! A sound will always be more simple and dynamic vicant drowned under the effects ...
Another thing: do not be afraid to experiment ... it's not like you had to buy lots of pedals!

OVERALL OPINION

In the end we are left with a rather well thought out pedal for creating and editing patches and with a real sound quality.
Only the change of patches and banks may seem limited.
I recommend however to those who do not like spending hours to find a sound, as was a fundamental element of multi-effects. There are also many sites that offer full of patches, which the latter is particularly interesting: http://guitarpatches.haax.se/

For € 100 (+ € 10 to the adapter) this pedal is really complete and can be used to both beginners and experienced musicians who want to expand their universe of sound.
For the wealthy, still prefer the version that integrates directly G2.1u an expression pedal and USB output for recording (€ 150) or the outright G7.1ut (I have to offer me also) that integrates a light pre-amp - a little gadget I grant you - but especially for managing 4x2 sounds at the same time, against 2 for G2.
