UTILIZATION
Ergonomics is good, a button for selecting the block effects and three buttons for each parameter effects, a tape delay. There are no press 2 or 3 keys at the same time is good.
The edition is easy. It is to safeguard its prferable rglages be remembered and recalled as required paramtrer than directly playing live.
The manual is in French but clear and succinct. No comments or tips & tricks or examples or dtails the factory settings.
It can plug into the effects loop of the amp or a PA system.
SOUND QUALITY
The modulation effects, delay and reverb are of good quality. The pitch is not used because not too pronounced mlodieux. The stomps Wah are not trribles.
The amp simulations are average overall. I do not like what I find distortions "fizzz" too low in the notes. With the simulation of speakers the sound is more compressed and the dynamics is greatly reduced. The clean sounds are musical, but there are only 3: Fender, Vox and Roland JCM 120. The Boss OD1 overdrive pedals I do not like at all but with a harmonica explotation to color the sound.
Résumé in the amp simulations are less good as Boss, Digitech and line6 my opinion. But do not compare them because the Zoom G2 is 4 times cheaper.
I use it in essemtiellement multi-effects, without the amp simulations, as an insert effect on my amp Marshall 30th anniversary. It's great the effects are good and fine parameter. I also use it with my harmonicas + simulation effects, it works.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for a week I pass a complte Journe try it in different configurations. With loop amplifier, a sound system with the offices of HP. He does not breath hardly, unless the POD or Vamp. I find it works best as an insert in an amp. We pay for 90 is the price of the pedals but there are 40 in the box that connects to a single click.
