Downloader manual in French on the website of zoom. You will have complete information.

Note the interval of transition between two patches: 5 milliseconds. A real pleasure. We are far zoom 505.

UTILIZATION

For now the G2 there is no manual in French which is a shame for those who do not have internet. A dtail should be corrected. A dtail because I find the manual a bit bordlique, however I am not trs manual without the manual I found how to quickly edit the patches.

The edition of sounds and effects are easy. Tables of effects that are in the manual are prcis.

Copying patches is a bit limited because you can not copy the patch o one wants that little of the blow is not + nothing.

The tuner is not too bad.

SOUND QUALITY

First view: The effects are all of great quality. Distortion level is all that needed to satisfy fans of good metal riffs (Marshall, Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, metal box, peavey 5150 ... I did the test on a Valvestate 8080 and a JCM900. Whether with one or the other, the sound that comes out is good trs. For notes tufts trs compression is effective.
The noise gate is also prcis trs. I needed the JCM900 and the hair has rgl.
The PDAL is not made exclusively for the Metal. The clean sounds are great too (its fender, vox ...)

2nd opinion: I start discovering difrent things that are not terrible. First of all if you want a multi-effect that plugs directly into a computer take a pod (it is for). Zoom G2 with its proposed, but it's good to forget. For the tests I did when it goes into the "firm and micro" compression is almost non-existent with regard to the sound "Mesa Dual Rectifier." As for his "Peavey 5150" is the volume that decreases srieusement.
If not for the same distos but in live mode (connected to amp) The marshall is frankly not that great (but hey got a story), the distortion is close to the Peavey 5150 and 5150 its real cold. The Metal Zone distortion is forgotten (compltement rat. La Mesa Dual Rectifier distortion is good for rhythmic trs well pchu by Młoda cons for the three lower strings is not great because a crash too even without compression. Finally the best for me is the extreme metal distortion with a good rhythm sound (a little worse than the Dual Rectifier distortion) and his own. For all that is m This is the melody and solo Disto to use. you just a little because the rgler at the beginning it's a little too extreme metal. Anyway me is that I chose this dernire Death to the technical and trs going well.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a weekend.
The strong points are: passing snapshot of a patch the other, the noise gate, sounds and effects in their majority. And of course its price (for its release date, which included 100 three days without an adapter). And as I was to understand the seller is given 100 saw the high quality of the G2. It is clear that this quality pdalier worth double.
So for the budget it is obvious that this would be folly to spend ct.
Then for those like me who do not need to use bcp effect is flawless and easy to transport given its dimensions.
It is clear that I do it again the same choice.
I wonder what the future will give G9 seems to be a monster but vritable competitors be worried.
Following the small problem I will find 9 for the price (cheaper than a good pedal Disto) even if I am tempted to 8.
