The purchase of this instrument, paid a high price in 1984 after a summer job, is to me a tactical mistake that I regret today.

In fact, I was looking at the time a keyboard "central" to my set, which is closer to a piano acoustic electric with a larger keyboard (at least 6 octaves), but could have some sounds "coating agents" Polyphonic .

Needless to say there was little in that time gathering all these characteristics, especially at the length of the keyboard!

I stumbled into a music store on the SYMPHONIC PIANO 80S and the large keyboard (sensitive to dynamics, which was rare, even in 84) seduced me.

The piano sounds (piano 1 & 2, clavinet and even harpsichord) are very disappointing.

It sounds like analog "low end", even if not vintage you know what I mean. This may sound vaguely evoke the RMI Electric Piano 70's (used among others by Tony Banks live, or Rick Wakeman), but with a harder edge "cold", more "plastic".

But what won me decision to buy this are the sounds of strings! Yes, the Piano S. 80S (unlike S. Piano Model 80, which also existed), has two strings presets beautiful! String analog mixed with sounds of piano, from a very warm chorus circuit.

In short, this "piano" is especially true for its "string"! But suddenly, we were really in the original specifications, and I found myself with an instrument that bastard was not really what I expected.

It is very rare to find. I do not have long gone (sold 4500 F one year later), but if you meet him, try at least the sounds of strings ...
