Does anyone know if I can take the sounds in the Malstrom synth and put them into the redrummer so that I can create arpeggiated riffs?

If so how, I want to do some House Music with cool rthym as the base of the music. The redrummer gives me 16 notes, correct, and I only need an octave. So I guess what I am trying to do is use the redrummer as kind of a sequencer.
