Configuration:
iBook G4 1Ghz 640 RAM OS10.3
An internal 60 GB HDD + 1 External 160 GB

The ide silent then to start a small home studio PORTABLE so I can easily dplacer with me. C why I wanted to invest in an external sound card (no choice since the iBook has not of his ...). I use Logic Express 6.4 (a cardboard!) And use the Firewire 410 is really good and trs trs Integrates well into the environment in OS X and Logic! In addition, the Firewire 410 is small, so you can lug around the either the studio or on vacation ...

UTILIZATION

Installation: no problemo
Incompatibility with the mac has m'tonnerait but ... at least not with me.
The configuration is no problem.
Manual: THE FAILURE Blowin 'in the explanation but good enough c so simple to install and set up Technical Info not needed, but ultimately must be a non-default??

GETTING STARTED

Drivers trs stable.
As I said I use Logic Express 6.4 and the latency is really not a problem with the Firewire 410.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 4 months and I really have no problem with the Firewire ... c really good compromise for the musician who does not want to take the lead in 10 000 drivers install, doing manipulations, etc ... and that can be dplacer with!.
The design is simple (except plastic buttons that make a little money ... but most gaget RSID in the belly of the beast). I tried the Lexicon but it is not great. The sound of the Firewire 410 is TERRIBLE.
Qualitprix report is correct.
If c'tait again ... well ... I would do !!!!!!
