Value For Money : Excellent
- What characteristics have motivated your choice?

The sampling frequency, the number of inputs, limited but sufficient for my use, the presence of ADAT ports and brand, known for designing the equipment of good quality.

- For what purpose?

Repeated recording and home studio config demos

- What is your config (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?

ASUS M2N-MX, AMD 5600 +, 2GB RAM, HDD 160 GB S-ATA.
Windows XP Pro SP-2 pack.

- Which instruments and systems (console, preamp, DTD ...) you use it and how connections? ...

Used with a Yamaha V O1 connected to the ADAT ports, 2 Focusrite Platinum Trackmaster on inputs 3 and 4 (for the sound) ... and sometimes I connect an external effect in 3-4 (or TC M 2000 LEXICON MPX 550) at the time of the mix.
The software used is Cubase 4.

UTILIZATION

- The installation is done it without problems?

No worries. After the first installation, I updated the firmware, and since the use is very stable. (My PC is exclusively dedicated to music)

- Have you experienced any incompatibilities?

No, no!

- The general configuration is easy?

Yes, it is clear, logical ... simple and effective.

GETTING STARTED

- The drivers are stable?

Yes, since the first update.

- Are they often updated?

Uh, I do not know ... as my config is working, I do not regularly monitor updates ...

- What software do you use most often?

Cubase 4.

- What you get lag?

About 5 ms.

- How many tracks you get to record / play time? ...

For now, I did not go beyond 12-track simultaneous recording and mixing. No problems have occurred.

OVERALL OPINION

Bought almost a year ago, I like more the sound of the preamp. I advise you to plug in microphones that do not require phantom power, I do not think it is very powerful ... I much prefer to use external power supplies phantom (those of my Focusrite 2). However, for dynamic microphones, it works very well. The ergonomics of the front seems very well designed, I love the feel of the pots!
The rear connections are a bit tight but with a little planning, it is doing.
The only other interface is used before a 6Tone LINE Port UX-2.
That, in my opinion, a very good product, good price / quality ratio.
I do not regret this purchase.
