I possde dj since the K24D a few months and I must say that the choice to spend an external audio interface (firewire) APRS having an RME HDSP 9632 (I always elsewhere) n 't is not without apprhention as the RME is a MODEL of quality and stability.
They are in fact many CRITERIA that made me choose the K24D compared to other cards in the same price range (see suprieur).
As Saxophonist (Alto Sax & MIDI Yamaha WX5 & WX7 (windcontroler) I needed an interface allowing me to use both in the studio and reptition scne, the TC was therefore impossible e quickly enough is a big plus compared to other cards on the one hand the quality of its sound quality converter providing what I call "Pro" and also by the possibility of using the integrated effects including the operation is assured thanks to the DSP board and are a part of trs good quality and also extremely useful when the rptitions (no need to walk an effects rack supplmentaire)

In the studio the TC is connected K24D Quad 405 amplifier and passive monitor artisanal production.

UTILIZATION

Installing the card is no particular problem just follow the instructions given during the installation of soft gre management TCNear that the driver, the Control Panel and updating the firmware .

I tried to use the same PC and the Konnekt 24D RME HDSP 9632 but it seems that the system becomes less stable, so I removed the RME in my configuration.

After a few trial and error we find fairly easily rglages perform according to each utltisation, Note that it is possible to configure 3 DIFFERENT setup and recall all the momment even if the map n ' is connected to the PC.

The manual is rather well done and covers all rglages and functionality of the card (plus it is a version in French)

GETTING STARTED

APRs have been some problem of stability of the driver of that drop-out gnrait trsdsagrables audio, and with the support of TC Electronic, now I have more problem me and I can open windows mediaplayer simultaneously (for playing mp3) and Cubase SX without any problem. The updating of drivers and is rgulire and thanks to the onboard DSP can CT prvoir adding new features (the tuner added at a t up day)

I use this card with Cubase studio and maintenent stroke V-Stack and scne repetition.

Latency is used 5.8m (256 samples)

OVERALL OPINION

I use this card for 4 months now its versatility and sound quality make it an enjoyable particulirement card use. I will certainly add an AD / DA converter interface ADAT grace in order to increase the number of input / output.
