my computer was a Sony Vaio running Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit..




the clipping just drive me crazy
i am very regret bought a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 now...
i just want a slient and stable interface..
who can help me now ??
if this time i can't settle this problems..
maybe i will switch to Presonus or something like that ...and never back to Focusrite again..

Hi there,

Sorry you're having issues. It doesn't look like the input is clipping since the LED halo stays green. The clipping could relate to processing once the signal reaches the computer.

I believe you may have a support case going. It would be useful if you could send us an audio example of this there so that we can help see what's happening.

Are you able to reduce the level in Guitar Rig? Does that help at all?

Hi,

I've had the Scarlett 2i2 for almost a year now and I also had some troubles setting it up but I think that the problem here is coming from your computer. Your buffer length and your sample rate may be too low and that may explain why your getting some clipping. Try changing your buffer length and sample rate and see what happens.
