SOUND QUALITY
This is a germanium fuzz made with ingredients carefully selected and handmade. The sound is creamy, very different from a silicon fuzz ... Personally, I pay very low the "kill" which tends to be a bit too treble boost and give it a slightly "Silicon" ... In any case, it was a real sound Fuzz Face, it responds well to change volume on the guitar, how about another? After various tests, I installed it between my Hartman Tommy Bolin Fuzz (silicon) that is in first position and Diamond J-Drive my MkIII, so I can not mix or different pedals without surprises and take advantage of the characteristics of each and others ... I must say that I tend to leave the office in Baja constantly and play with the volume to adjust the level of fuzz, the other pedals I used to give more body and / or gain to my sound.
OVERALL OPINION
On my pedal, it takes up little space (size of a MXR), it works perfectly with my other pedals, I am fully satisfied. Fueled by my Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus, she does not snore ...
Purchased in the USA about 90 € with shipping on Ebay (no customs fees for this value), I think it's an excellent deal, especially since the pedals germanium are scarce and often unaffordable. For those prices, relatively low, may worry, I advise them to open a fuzz and see what's in it: almost nothing. The price seems to me perfectly reasonable for a pedal which, in my opinion, is largely identical to other competitors in other brands and has a good chance of seeing his stock rise significantly when we no longer find germanium transistor ...
